Artist's Description
This leopard portrait was taken while on a photo safari in southern Africa, in this particular case in Botswana before we flew on to Zambia and Zimbabwe for more animals. This leopard very calmly stared straight at me from about 20' away, almost daring me to move. He was lying down on a slight rise and didn't blink the whole time I watched. As the guide slowly drove off he only turned his head to say "I won".
