Artist's Description
Fran is an artist, a nationally recognized painter, but couldn’t understand why I would pull over to take this picture. We see things differently. Pre-visualization is something B&W Zone photographers acquire, in my case only after a lot of practice – how can we change/improve what our eyes see and the film captures. Can it look different? Better? More impressive? The clouds were nothing to her but everything to me although it took a lot of manipulation in the darkroom to create this image. Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.
